We supply and commission the field-layer hardware — smart sub-meters, IoT sensors, terminal actuators, multifunction controllers and connectivity boxes — that closes the instrumentation gap blocking retro-Cx, BACS class upgrades and ISO 50001 baselines in UAE assets.

Why the field layer matters.

Across the UAE assets we audit, the single most common blocker to energy performance is not the absence of a BMS — it is the absence of reliable, granular measurement. Sub-metering coverage is partial, sensors have drifted out of calibration, and whole categories of consumption are invisible. Without trustworthy data at the field layer, retro-commissioning is guesswork, a BACS class upgrade cannot be verified, and an ISO 50001 baseline cannot be defended to a lender or auditor.

To remove that blocker, Netz Energy supplies a focused, vendor-neutral range of field-layer equipment sourced from our European partners — installed, configured and commissioned by our own project managers, on your site.

Advisory stays independent. Equipment supply is kept structurally separate from our advisory work: any hardware we provide is invoiced on a transparent pass-through basis and is never a condition of an advisory engagement. Our partners are Arcontrols (sensors & terminal controls) and Agescom (multimarque BACS integration & smart metering).

What we supply.

  • Smart sub-meters — electricity, water, BTU/thermal energy meters with pulse, Modbus or LoRa output for granular EUI and tenant-level billing.
  • IoT sensors — temperature, humidity, CO2, air quality, pressure, occupancy and differential-pressure sensors, wired or wireless.
  • Terminal actuators & valves — damper and valve actuators, terminal-unit controllers for VAV, fan-coil and AHU loops.
  • Multifunction controllers — programmable controllers for intelligent management across building-automation applications.
  • Connectivity boxes & gateways — protocol bridges and connectivity kits that simplify installation and integrate legacy equipment.
  • Multimarque BACS integration — supervision that unifies heterogeneous equipment under one platform: BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus, KNX, DALI, LoRa, Sigfox, EnOcean.

1 — Specify

Starting from your audit findings or instrumentation gap, we draw up a vendor-neutral specification — the right meter or sensor in the right place, sized to the measurement you actually need.

2 — Supply

Equipment is sourced from our European partners and delivered to site, with transparent pass-through pricing and full traceability.

3 — Install & commission

Our project managers coordinate installation, configure addressing and protocols, and commission each device against its control loop — hard hat on site, not just on paper.

4 — Connect & verify

Devices are integrated into your supervision platform, data integrity is verified, and the new measurement points feed straight into your retro-Cx, BACS upgrade or ISO 50001 baseline.
